We are a self-sustaining band, for most events, all we need is a power outlet to plug into and some shade if we are playing outdoors. We come equipped with a sound system/speakers and microphones. We can perform on most flat surfaces with or without a stage, space of 10x10 or larger would be ideal.
Here's what will help us when arriving and setting up at your event; Day of contact info, any specific directions, parking info, where to load in, if there are steps or higher floors, and if we are indoors or outdoors.
We provide our own sound, and can also work with your venue if they have their own sound. We can provide a few basic lights for ambience.
We can provide background music with a playlist in-between our sets.
We have performed lots of special occasions including; 1) Rose Bowl parade/Dole float 2) Various weddings 3)Overseas in Guam, islands of Oahu (Turtle Bay Resort) & Maui, Hawai'i 4)House of Blues in Las vegas, NV, San Diego, & Anaheim, CA 5) Trader Sam's/Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, CA.
We LOVE performing at weddings, corporate events, private parties, house parties, anywhere where good people are around.
Island Jams Productions has been performing for 15-20 years, providing Island and Hawaiian entertainment for any occasion.
Our most popular song that guests request is "Somewhere over the Rainbow / What a Wonderful World", all of our artists can perform this song.
We usually arrive 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 1 hour, 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets. (depending on your budget) We’re happy to play a bit longer for an additional fee.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 2-3 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.
