IThemba Youth Choir is a South African musical group of young individuals from Cape Town. We offer a variety of traditional and cultural songs which include traditional dancers, our sound is accompanied by a djembe drum, tambourine and egg shakers that creates African sound. The group group is very versatile and fits in many occasions like weddings, Birthday parties, Festivals and cooperate events.

We're a flexible choir with a great sound! While we have our own preferred setup with microphones for vocals and instruments, we're also open to using your sound equipment. Our basic needs include microphones for our vocalists and the djembe. We can adapt to different setups and bring our unique charm to any performance space.

We had the privilege of performing at the CTICC Convention Center with our choir. The energy and acoustics in that venue were incredible, making it a standout experience for us. The audience's response was overwhelmingly positive, and it remains one of our most cherished performances.
We love playing at all sorts of events but weddings are our favourite, The guests are always happy and it is easy to get them dancing
We started gigging in the year 2022 after we joined the V&A Waterfront Busking Program and our performances develop from there. Since we started we've performed at hundreds of weddings, parties and events Cape Town and beyond.
We are influenced by a lot of South Africa's music legends like, Lira, Simphiwe Dana and Miriam Makeba: Their iconic pop, jazz and dance music have always been a crowd favourite, and we love incorporating hits like Igqirha Lendlela and Feel Good into or sets.q
