Jan played at our wedding ceremony and drinks reception on May 9th and truly made the day complete! Not only was his music beautiful to listen to, but he also really set the perfect atmosphere.

An enrichment of our garden party!
Jan played delightful easy saxophone at the drinks reception, moving among the guests with the DJ's music as background. It gave a very special touch to our party!
During our 20 years together, Jan gave us a great evening. Jan had already arranged his things neatly when we arrived. Jan senses the atmosphere and responds accordingly. Every now and then the feet off the floor and then a little slow again. Everyone was full of praise for Jan and the guests had never seen a saxophonist at a party like this before, which makes it extra fun. It was also a surprise to most people, we managed to keep it pretty quiet. Jan is also a very nice person, flexible, friendly and calm. Highly recommended for your party!

What a great evening we had with DJ Delafresco, trumpeter Thomas Wessels and saxophonist Jan van Oord! Really fantastic, almost indescribable so cool. Three professionals with a super sense for the crowd, entourage and our wishes. All three (from different sources) selected for their own specific style and inspiring performance. Jan van Oord took over in the night with his funky sax sound. Jan and DJ Delafresco had never played together before, but I don't think this was the last time for either of them. A short consultation in advance was enough for them to make it a blast. Almost everyone could be found on the dance floor all evening, the "roof went off", just as we had hoped in advance. Jan also has a lot of super fun interaction with the dancing audience. The accompanying technology and lighting were perfectly arranged by Erwin Bakkum. It's that we don't give parties like this every year, otherwise they would certainly be there again soon. But maybe we will meet them, individually or together, at another party, because so many guests have asked about all three at our place, that says something!
Jan contributed to creating a fantastic atmosphere at our wedding with his beats. We agreed in advance which style of music we preferred, the contact with Jan was very pleasant. During the act he responded perfectly to the audience. Only positive reactions

Ik zag Jan en Dr Hide op het Seabottom jazzfestival en had zoiets nog nooit eerder gezien. De aparte stijl muziek in combi met de diverse saxsounds maakte het geheel tot een waar feest en muzikaal ook erg interessan

Wat een topper! Jan speelde samen met een dj op ons feest en maakte er vanaf de eerste tonen een groot feest van!! Hij bewoog zich met zijn sax door het publiek en iedereen stond meteen te dansen. Onze gasten spreken nu al van het feest van het jaar! Dit was de tweede keer dat ik Jan heb geboekt en zou het de volgende keer zeker weer doen!

Jan was nice to work with, quick contact and all agreements were clear before the booking. On the evening of the party we walked out ourselves and arrived late, but luckily he played just a little longer. Had many positive reactions to his presence and who knows until next time!

From the moment you contact Jan you know that the performance is going to be a party! The enthusiasm is evident from the first second. He works with multiple DJs so there's something for everyone. At our gala Jan was there with Dr Hide and we thought this combination was really great!
Unfortunately, Jan did not show up. I spoke to him on the phone and it turned out to be unfortunate in the confirmation. We agreed with Jan that the amount will be refunded to our account
