IndiGo is a live indie rock and Britpop band built on over 20 years of playing together.
Originally formed as an originals band, the members cut their teeth on the UK live circuit, sharing line-ups with artists including Scouting for girls, The Fratellis, Towers of London, Ash, The Staves and Fun Loving Criminals. Years on the road shaped a tight, instinctive live sound and a deep understanding of what really works on a stage.
For more than a decade, the band also ran a successful wedding and function project, honing their ability to read rooms, build energy and deliver unforgettable live performances.
Now, IndiGo has found its natural home in the anthems of Indie rock and 90s Britpop. From Blur and Oasis to Pulp, Stone Roses, Suede and Supergrass, the band delivers a hit-packed set designed for packed dancefloors, loud singalongs and zero filler.
This isn’t nostalgia for nostalgia’s sake.
It’s the songs that shaped a generation, played with the confidence of a band that knows exactly how to make a room come alive.

Our performance area must be roughly 3x4 meters based on a 4 piece. We can fit into smaller spaces in some instances but would need communication on this. Our set up can run on 2 separate 13 amp power sockets without overloading. Awkward access/distance to the performance area could affect our set-up time.

We provide basic sound and lighting. Our PA system is sufficient for most rooms, though in a particularly big space it may be advised for us to hire in a bit extra.
We are happy to provide music before, in-between and after our sets, either from one of our playlists or provided by the client. We can also provide a "DJ set" to keep the dance floor pumping.
We started out as an original band and supported the Fun Lovin' Criminals in front of over 10,000 people.

Individually we have shared stages/ line-ups with artists such as Tiny Tempah, Jules Holland, The Animals, Towers of London, The Mystery Jets, The Fratellis, Steve Craddock from Ocean Colour Scene, The Staves, The Subways, Mark Morriss from The Bluetones, Dodgy, Scouting for Girls and Alison Wheeler from the Beautiful South.
One of our strongest points in versatility - We're inspired by a huge amount of artists across the board - through all of the genres we cover, and beyond.....
We need an hour and a half to set up and sound check, though we like to arrive as early as possible in case of any obstacles.
Yes, as long as we're dry.
We are open to learning an extra tune or 2, however we have a strong set of Indie/Britpop classics. If you're into this genre enough to book us, you shouldn't need anything more!
