I play acoustic violin to backing tracks in a wide range of styles. I am best suited to smallish events of less than 100 people.
(My electric violin or in-house PA system are good options for larger events).
I am happy to play without backing tracks if there is a noise limit at the venue, but I recommend backing tracks for a fuller sound.
I bring my own amp, mic and ipad. I just need a power point, small side table, and cover if playing outdoors.

A bit about me! -
Joanne studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama under Pauline Scott. She went on to Cambridge University where she achieved a BA/MA in Music and Philosophy. While she was there she studied under Andrew Watkinson, and gave solo and chamber performances. Joanne has toured the World with Irish Dance Show, 'Spirit of the Dance.' Joanne also plays for Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra, The Glenn Miller Band, Albert's Band (RAH), London's Belmont Ensemble, Trafalgar Sinfonia, Apollo Music Project and her trio/quartet, 'Bowfiddle.'
Joanne has recorded the music for many films, including Lord of the Rings, Tombraider, Peter Pan Returns, and Die Another Day.

I loved touring with Kanye West. We played at Abbey Road, GQ fashion week in Milan and London’s O2.
My favourite venue is the Royal Albert Hall where I have done many concerts.
I love a good rock concert! I played for Muse once and loved every minute! I also like small intimate settings, ie solo violin for just a few special guests.
I started out as the violinist for Spirit of the Dance. It was an on stage role and it involved dancing as well as playing Irish music with a dance troupe. We travelled all over the world.

Yes I love it when clients have ideas about their music. I do need to charge a small fee for special requests to cover the track and sheet music
