Jodi&Ian Acoustic Duo was formed following an unequivocal connection on a musical and emotional level between both Jodi and Ian. The love for music was a driving force since the very beginning of their relationship. Given that Jodi had a passion for singing and Ian an unexplored love for playing the acoustic guitar, they decided to take their interests to the next level by providing acoustic performances in various bars around Malta and Gozo. This new adventure took off over 15years ago and shows no sign of stopping. Having performed in numerous events, venues and abroad, the acoustic duo have also produced original material, some of which has been aired on local radio stations.
Performance experience includes Strummin 2012 and 2013 concerts, supporting act for four editions of Rockestra (2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015); The Eurovision where Jodi sang backing vocals for Gianni Zammit in 2013; two Xirka Roc editions; L-Istrina 2012 and L-Istrina 2015, Zabbar Music Festival 2013, Hard Rock Rising 2013, Rock the Rock 2013 (also organized by Jodi&Ian), What the Funk (3 editions), Alive Rocks 2014, supporting act for Kite Project EP Launch 2014, Simon’s Music Marathon every year since 2012, and various gigs, private events and weddings. Jodi&Ian have released 4 original singles and continue to write original music as often as possible. Music style is acoustic, blues rock and pop.

As a duo we require 13amp power and a parking spot. Should sound system be provided by vendor we would require x2 vocal mics, x1 di box for the acoustic guitar and x1 wedge monitor.
We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.

Ian n I have performed at multiple large platforms in Malta, most recently for Għanja tal- poplu at the Pjazza teatru Rjal and also at Siemacha Christmas concert in Poland.
We love weddings, bar gigs, dinner gigs and warm up concert gigs.
We started in 2005 and have been gigging at various events ever since. We used to be a 5 piece banf but decided to focus on ourselves as an acoustic duo. We are also married and have two children.
Alanis morisette, Sheryl Crow, Beth Hart, Queen and so many more. Impossible to choose just one song.
We normally arrive between one and two hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 or 3 x 60 minute sets and take a 10minute break in between sets. We play background music during our sets.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 5 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.
Previous customers would describe us as a feel-good, mellow duo who play favorites from various generations.

SIEMACHA, Krakow
Jodi&Ian were invited to perform in two very prestigious events in Poland
( Krakow and Zakopane) during a Christmas weekend in 2018 organized by the
organization Siemacha. The main event was named WIECZÓR KOLĘD 2018 . Performed a number of Christmas songs, Maltese songs and other popular songs in front of a large audience at Stara Zajezdnia in Krakow and another venue in Zakopane, along side many talented, local artists.
