About / Biography

Transformational artist Julieta Minkova fuses exotic, melodic and rhythmic sounds discovered on her world travels to create an utterly unique high-energy performance, leaving you transfixed from start to finish. Julieta is classicaly graduated cellist with an international career as a virtuoso acoustic/electric cellist known for her unique genre-crossing style. As a classical cellist, Julieta has performed with various chamber groups around the world both on land and on board of miltple cruise lines.
Julieta's musical education began on the age of 9, when she started her cello lessons in Music school in her home town.
Julieta continued her professional cello studies with prof. Zdravko Yordanov and prof. Stefan Popov in State Academy of Music in Sofia. And graduated with academic excellence.

She work closely with clients to tailor the performance in exactly the way you want. Julieta can either appear as a soloist to give an acoustic performance or perform alongside backing tracks, she also performs in collaborative duos with Piano or Violin and as part of a String Trio or Quartet.
