Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

Best gig was backing McFly on Wonderland Tour and performing for an intimate dinner for HRH The Queen.

What's your favourite type of event?

I enjoy playing for all types of events as the harp lends itself to a whole host of events and adds that touch of elegance.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

As a graduate of Trinity College of Music, I have been performing for many years both in orchestras, recording sessions, on TV and for events.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

I love music from all genres - my father sang in a barbershop quartet so anything from swing to pop covers and classical. I do love Coldplay, I must admit that gets me dancing!

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

Set up up to 45 mins prior to performance times. Performance sets 45mins to one hour then 15 mins break required.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes, if adequate shade and sold concrete surface to place harp on.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

I can learn specific songs before the event but I usually limit this to 3 songs. I have a huge repertoire list so there are not many songs I don't play!

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Previous customers would describe my performance as first class and impressed by the different arrangements and genres of music I play.
