Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

One of our most memorable gigs was at a summer festival in Athens during European Music Day festival on a central stage. There was such a he magical atmosphere that it made it feel like we were part of something truly special. Performing in front of such a lively and appreciative audience is an experience we’ll never forget.

What's your favourite type of event?

We love performing at a wide variety of events, from elegant cocktail parties and intimate jazz evenings to lively social gatherings, weddings, corporate functions, outdoor festivals, and cultural events. These varied settings allow us to connect with audiences of all kinds, create a warm and joyful atmosphere, whether it’s a sophisticated evening indoors or a festive celebration under the open sky. Our versatility allows us to adapt our performance to suit the mood and style of any venue, making every event a memorable experience for guests and hosts alike.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

We started performing together while exploring the jazz scene in Greece, gradually developing our repertoire and harmony as a three-voice ensemble. Since then, we’ve performed at a wide range of venues across Greece, from intimate jazz clubs and cocktail lounges to festivals and private events. Each performance has helped us refine our craft, allowing us to deliver a lively, polished, and memorable musical experience that connects with every audience.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

We’re deeply inspired by the classic three-voice harmony groups of the 1930s and ’40s, particularly The Andrews Sisters. Their swing, precision, and charm have shaped the way we approach harmony, phrasing, and stage presence. We also draw inspiration from legendary jazz vocalists like Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, and Sarah Vaughan, as well as from iconic composers such as Cole Porter and Duke Ellington, whose melodies and arrangements influence our performances. While it’s impossible to choose a single greatest song, we have a special fondness for timeless swing and jazz standards that always get audiences moving, such as Sing, Sing, Sing. It Don’t Mean a Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing)

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

We usually arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up and soundcheck. Our standard format is 2 sets of 45 minutes each, which seems to suit both our energy and the audience’s enjoyment. We’re happy to adjust set lengths if the event calls for shorter or longer performances.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes, we’re happy to perform outdoors. We simply ask for a shaded or covered area, a flat and stable surface, and a nearby power supply for our equipment. This ensures both comfort and the best sound quality for everyone.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Because our performances rely on carefully arranged three-part vocal harmonies, we are not able to create new arrangements on the spot. However, clients are welcome to choose songs that each singer can perform on a solo basis or where the band performs instrumentally. This allows some flexibility while ensuring the quality and precision of our performance.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Clients often describe us as elegant, engaging, and highly polished, highlighting the intricate three-part vocal harmonies that define our sound. Many appreciate the “magic” of the tight harmonies, the retro swing style, and the refined, timeless quality we bring to each performance. Our attention to detail and authentic vintage arrangements consistently leave a lasting impression.

What makes your band different from other jazz groups?

Our signature lies in authentic three-part vocal harmonies inspired by the classic swing groups of the 1930s–40s, blended with a modern jazz sensibility. Each arrangement is carefully crafted, giving our performances a timeless, sophisticated feel that’s both elegant and engaging.

What can guests expect from your stage presence

Guests can expect a polished, charming performance with attention to vintage style, swing rhythms, and engaging harmonies. We aim to create an immersive musical experience that feels both nostalgic and vibrant. We tailor our repertoire, energy, and set structure to suit a wide range of events—from intimate cocktail parties and private celebrations to lively festivals and corporate functions—always keeping the audience and venue atmosphere in mind.
