We’re Maartje and Sander, singer and guitarplayer of the acoustic duo Lara Leaves. Combining vocals, guitar, an electronic kick drum and hand percussion, we create a full, warm sound for your wedding. From heartfelt songs during your ceremony to a relaxed drinks reception and a lively evening party, we bring music that fits each moment.
Our repertoire includes around 500 songs spanning more than 60 years of pop music, featuring artists such as Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, ABBA, Coldplay and Ed Sheeran. We tailor our music to your wishes and respond to your guests, building the atmosphere as your celebration unfolds.
One of our strengths is creating a full sound at a comfortable volume. Guests can chat easily during the reception, while our upbeat songs bring plenty of energy to the dance floor in the evening.
We’ve been full-time musicians since 2017, and you’ll be in direct contact with us throughout the planning process. We’re happy to help you choose the music and timing, including personal song requests for your ceremony to make it truly yours.

We require a level, dry performance area measuring at least 3 × 3 metres, with a minimum clear height of 2.5 metres.
Power supply
One grounded 230V power outlet must be available within 10 metres of the performance area.
We'd like to know the accessibility of the venue, possibility to load and park nearby and if there are any sound restrictions.
We bring our own professional Bose sound system and compact stage lighting. Our standard sound system is suitable for events with up to approximately 150 guests. Additional sound equipment can be arranged on request.
We adjust our volume to suit the venue and the occasion. Our sound system is positioned behind us within the performance area.
Yes, in between our sets we use Spotify to play music. We choose the right music according to your wishes en the mood.
We arrive 1 hour before we start.
We need 30 minutes to set up, no sound check is needed.
Yes. The performance area must be sheltered from rain, wind and direct sunlight. A suitable canopy or covered space is required; a parasol is sufficient only if it provides adequate protection in the conditions on the day. In cold weather, suitable heating must be provided.
For wedding ceremonies we will learn your favorite songs, with a limit to 5 songs. For any other occasion we can provide in learning 1 song on request. Favorite artists and songs are always welcome to send to us, so we can make our music suitable to your musical taste.
