Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

A P.A. System is included for most performances. It is also possible to work with an existing system where required.
Minumum space required for Solo performance is 2 metres square. 3 metres for Duo. Battery operated amplification can also be supplied for some performance settings.

What information do you require about a venue?

We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment.
Do I/We have access one hour prior to start time ?
Is there an appropriate allocated performance space ?
We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

I/We are completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig.
We also provide background music during breaks.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

I/We also provide background music during breaks.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

A recent highlight was playing at Marvel Stadium in the VIP Medallion Club/Restaurant overlooking the main area where Paul McCartney performed that night.

What's your favourite type of event?

Weddings are great but outdoor public events can also have a unique atmosphere.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I have been performing in various combinations for many years now - Solo, Duo, Trio and so on.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

I am equally a big fan of the music of Sting, Bob Marley, Van Morrison, Coldplay, The Beatles and Stevie Wonder.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

Performances normally 45mins in every hour.
This can vary in order to work with the schedule (structure) of the event.
The hours mentioned do not include set-up time which is not charged. Normally I/We arrive an hour earlier to set up.

Are you happy to perform outside?

We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

We can learn a few specific songs before the event which has a small fee attached as this takes time to organise. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them."

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Qaulity, appropriate, the right vibe for the occasion whether festive or background.
