For the solo or hybrid setup I need a level performance area of roughly 10 x 10 feet, one standard 120V outlet within 50 feet (two dedicated circuits for full lighting), and one parking space near the load-in point. For LOLAH & The Travelers, plan on a 16 x 12 foot stage area, two dedicated 20-amp circuits and parking for three vehicles. Outdoor events need cover from direct sun and rain for me and the gear. I typically arrive 60 to 90 minutes before start time.

Please send the venue address, the name of the day-of contact, load-in directions and where I can park, whether there are stairs or an elevator, and whether the performance space is indoors or outdoors. I also need to know about any sound limiter, noise curfew or power restrictions, the timeline for the day, and if the venue has an in-house AV team I should coordinate with.

Yes, I'm fully self-contained. I bring a premium sound system (Bose L1 Pro, QSC and JBL speakers, scaled to your guest count), wireless microphones for toasts and announcements, and synchronized lighting: uplights, a Chauvet lighting bar, and moving heads or lasers on request. For larger productions I can coordinate with your venue's AV team or bring additional gear.

Yes. I provide curated background music before, between and after every set, and as a professional DJ I can also run a full DJ set after live music instead of a playlist. My Live Jukebox add-on lets your guests request songs from my repertoire in real time from their phones. You can share a must-play and do-not-play list, or leave the soundtrack to me.

Yes. Emcee service is included with my DJ and hybrid packages: I handle announcements, introductions and timeline cues with a wireless mic. Before the event we do a planning meeting, and on the day I coordinate directly with your planner, venue and any in-house AV team so the flow stays stress-free for you.

I've been trained as a musician my whole life and I produce my own original music from my studio in San Jose. I arrive 60 to 90 minutes before the first note to set up sound and lighting and do a quiet soundcheck. My solo sets are flexible: anywhere from a 15-minute ceremony to a 2-hour cocktail hour, usually 45 to 60-minute sets with curated background music in between. For the Signature Hybrid I typically sing during the ceremony and cocktail hour, then DJ the reception for up to 5 hours or a full day. LOLAH & The Travelers usually play 2 x 45 or 2 x 60-minute sets. Timing is built around your event flow, not the other way around.

Yes, a lot of my favorite events are outdoors, from garden ceremonies to Napa Valley estates. I ask for shade or cover for me and the equipment, a flat level surface, and power within about 50 feet of the performance area. If a location has no power, let me know in advance and we can plan around it.

You have a real say. Share your must-play songs, do-not-play list and the vibe you're going for, and I'll curate the set around it. I'm happy to learn a few special requests, such as a first-dance song or a family favorite, and my Live Jukebox feature lets guests request songs from my repertoire in real time from their phones. If you'd rather leave it all to me, I read the room and build the soundtrack as the night unfolds.
