Their show is a fully authentic and high-quality music experience which performs all instruments live (no backing tracks), customises its stage lighting to suit your reception's colour theme, and provides a complimentary sound engineer to ensure the show sounds amazing.

We require a performance space of minimum 5m wide by 3m deep and 4 power points on mains power. Parking will be required for 5 vehicles.
For each show we will require the time and location for loading in our gear plus what time sound check will need to be completed by. If the client has a preferred volume limit they should let us know so we can comply. Also, please confirm the size of the stage or floor setup area, and if it is undercover.
Yes, we provide a fully inclusive sound and lighting package, including a dedicated sound technician to support the show.
Yes, we can play break music from a Spotify playlist during our breaks.
Our favourite show so far was supporting a large charity ball at Brisbane City Hall which combined our love of music with helping people.
We love all shows, but our favourite types of event are weddings and private parties. It's great to make someone's special day even more special through our music, plus we also cater to special requests like costumes, and the occasional bit of karaoke (eg. a bride once got up and sang with us at their own wedding!)
Our band currently performs at large events and weddings approximately 25 times a year. All members are formally trained musicians and the band practices weekly with an ever increasing songs list. We have been together for 4 years.
The band performs a wide range of modern music (eg. Chappell Roan, Dua Lipa) which makes us a bit unique compared to other bands. We love new music and try to stay on top of the music trends.
We require two hours of setup time prior to a show for the band, and one hour for the acoustic duo. We can play up to 4 hours of music (4 sets at 45 minutes long with 15 minute breaks.) We are happy to split this or take breaks as required to align with an event's run sheet.
Yes, as long as it is under some form of cover so that our equipment is protected from the rain.
We have a repertoire of over 120 classic rock and pop hits. Clients can choose their own songs from the list, or we can recommend something based on our experience. For special events like weddings we will learn requested songs for aisle walk, first dance etc.
Our band has a reputation for putting on an exceptional standard of performance (the band are great musicians who practice frequently), plus being fun and very easy to work with.
What makes us different is our focus on quality. While other groups will use backing tracks, fill-in musicians, and perform unpractised songs to reduce time, Maddi & The Dreamers do not do this. We pride ourselves on the quality of our performance and dedication to our craft. As we say, Maddi & The Dreamers are a band, not a business.
When you book us, you can have confidence that you will get a professional and polished show performed by the same 5 committed members. Every song will match the original recording with all the guitar and synth effects played live, and the set lists customised to suit your event.
As a further sign of our commitment to quality, every show will include a dedicated mixing engineer and a customised lighting setup to suit the colour theme of the event. Most bands do not include this, or else charge a large premium.
