Featuring local male and female lead singers, we can cover a wide variety of lively dance hits from ABBA to Amy Winehouse, Beatles to Bruno Mars, Creedence to Miley Cyrus ... so we can entertain ALL ages!
We can also perform smooth, jazzy dinner music or even a stripped-down acoustic set with a choice of male or female singer for, say, a wedding ceremony.
Our five-piece party band includes classically trained semi-professional musicians from Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne: female and male lead singers, backing vocals, guitar, keyboards, bass and drums.
We have our own stage lights and sound system for a professional presentation and our drums are electric, so we can turn it up to stadium volume or down to intimate lounge level.
We have been playing weddings, parties and venues around South East Queensland, including Suzie Wong's Good Time Bar in the Valley, City Golf Club in Toowoomba, Bramble Bay Bowls Club, Bearded Dragon Tavern, Falvey's Cecil Hotel, Metropole Hotel, Hogans Hotel and more. We only need a dry stage area at least 8x4 metres and two mains power outlets.
We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.
Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as disco lighting.
Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.
Our best gig was a Christmas party at an over 50s residential complex where about 200 people filled the dance floor and partied all night long.
Private functions, birthdays, weddings, etc are great because people come prepared to dance and have fun. That is what our band is all about!
We have an age range from 40s to 60s, so our experience is long, wide and diverse going back to the 1970s. We have a music teacher, an opera-trained singer and various levels of musical education.
The Beatles are the perfect pop band, even today! They have a wide variety of styles that can be interpreted into modern music and everyone knows the songs and loves to dace and sing along.
We normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up. We can perform any length of gig up to five x 45-minute sets with our extensive list of songs. We are happy to adapt according to what suit our audiences.
Yes, we love playing outdoors and have a PA that can cope. So long as it's dry and sheltered with a nearby power supply.
Yes, we love to tailor our set list according to the customer's needs and will even take a number of requests, if given enough time to learn them.
