We work mainly as a duo, but we have brought a bass player into the line-up on two occasions, and enjoyed the addition. As our name suggests, we perform mainly '70s fare, perhaps our favourite songs being by The Carpenters, Billy Joel or Gilbert O'Sullivan. But we like to bring in a sprinkling of traditional folk songs - The Bone Lace Weavers, My Love is like a Red Red Rose, to give examples. We never do a gig without including the odd '60s country hit - Two Cigarettes in an Ashtray or The End of the World.
We are equally at ease providing background music (Diana perched on a bar stool, and me seated at the piano) or in concert.
There was so much good song-writing done in the '70s, so many hits to choose from!

We need a space of roughly 4 by 5 metres, two 13 amp power sockets, and one parking space..
The size of the venue, and its post code. Loading our equipment is never likely to be a problem.
We bring our own sound equipment. There is no likelihood of our needing any lighting rig.
No is the simple answer. We are happy for the client to switch on background music between sets.
A concert at Christmas (not exclusively Christmas music) for a Probus Club dinner at the Chequers Hotel in Newbury, Berkshire.
Coming a close second, an outdoor spot at a folk festival in Vernham Dean, Berks.
All sorts of events, but particularly a garden party or an after-dinner concert/cabaret show.
We were introduced in 2023 and 'paired off' at a 1950s celebration at a village church, knowing nothing about one another. We hit it off musically and started rehearsing together, building a repertoire of some 60 songs, and have since done about twenty gigs together.
In my case the pianists Charlie Kunz and Floyd Cramer. In Diana's case, Ella Fitzgerald and Karen Carpenter. 'Crazy' or 'I'm Not in Love' have to be contenders for favourite song.
When audiences smile, tap their feet or sing along.
We like to arrive about 45 minutes before a performance. For background music we would do two 45 minute sets, maximum. For a cabaret/concert we would perform for 40-50 minutes.
Very happy, given a power supply nearby.
Yes, we are more than happy to play requests, or for the client to have a say in what we play, provided it is in our musical 'province'.
We are told how well we work together, and how our choice of songs strikes a nostalgic chord.
