MAJO Weddings Wedding photographer and videographer Duo

We are Maria and Jonathan - two passionate photographers united by love and adventure. We are based in lovely Algarve of Portugal, but available worldwide.

We are a team, working together as both photographers or as a photographer and videographer duo. We are also life partners - currently married and had our own wedding in July 2025. Maria is Moldovan and speaks Romanian, Russian and English, while Jonathan is from Belgium and speaks Dutch and English. We’re both learning Portuguese, as we’ve chosen Portugal as our new home, where we are now based and hope to build a happy life together.

We take photography very seriously - not just as a way to express our creativity, but as a responsibility to deliver work that’s meaningful and high-quality. Our focus is on many aspects: making the process comfortable and natural for you, ensuring we don’t distract from your enjoyment of the day, and carefully considering lighting, equipment and timing to capture you at your best. Our goal is to create photos that make you feel as beautiful as you see yourself in the mirror.

When it comes to editing, we stick to a classic style. We avoid overly warm, retro, greenish, or pinkish tones. Instead, we prioritize natural, vibrant colors and accurate skin tones so that, years from now, you’ll still love your photos and feel proud to share them with your family.

Delivering results that make you happy is what drives us. It’s what fuels our passion for photography and inspires us to continue doing what we love.
