Professional Violinist & Electric violinist for your memorable Event in The Netherlands & overseas
Classically educated Marjuviolin holds a Masters Degree in Violin Performance from the University of the Arts, Helsinki. Marju has a colourful career from 2014 as a Violinist, Electric Violinist and a Professional Orchestra Musician and has performed around the World. Her musical style travels all the way from Classical to Electronic Dance Music. Marju has a unique way to tailor the setlist suitable for the event and take in all song requests of a choice.
I accept all song requests, as long as they are submitted at least one month before the event. Please get in touch if you’d like to view my playlists for events in different categories. For weddings, I have over four hours of instrumental music.
I will need a power socket located no more than a few metres from the performance area. If there is no socket available, please inform me in advance. Thank you. I will also require a parking space to be reserved and paid for by the client.
I will need the full address, including the postcode and venue name. Please also let me know which room will be used and where the green room is located. Please also let me know if there will be a sound system at the location, and, if so, the model of the equipment.

I love a good party, where everyone is in a good mood and the event runs smoothly. I enjoy playing on a big stage.
I started playing gigs alongside my studies during university over 10 years ago. I performed during the week and on weekends with various ensembles and orchestras, as well as as a soloist. After graduating in 2019 and getting through the COVID years, I decided to continue performing and went full-time as a freelance musician in London. Eventually, I became really busy with gigging, and it has taken me around the world!
I listen to a bit of everything, from classical to modern music, including house and electronic. I can’t name a single favourite artist, but I can say that many songs and producers have influenced me and my music-making.
I usually arrive an hour before the event to set up. I normally don’t play sets longer than 3 × 30 minutes.

Yes, but please inform me in advance so that I can bring my wireless system. Please note that the wireless system also has limitations, and I will still need to perform in the same area or room where the speakers and mixer are located. I will also need to hear the backing track and my own sound from the speakers, so I prefer to perform near them.
