My name is Mayreni, I'm a french Bollywood and Indian traditional dance performer. At 9 years old I found myself a passion for Indian culture, ever since, I've been training in Indian dance forms, learnt Hindi language, travelled to India...

I'm teaching and performing professionally since 2019 for all kinds of events.

The dance styles I practice are :

-Kathak (north-Indian classical dance), which is my main specialty

-Semi-classical dance (Mujra style songs like Heeramandi, Devdas, or spiritual songs like Bhajans, Sufi songs )

-Bollywood

-Ghoomar, Kalbeliya (Rajasthani folk dance)

-Lavani (Marathi folk dance)

-Bellydance

-Indian fusion

I'm based in France and ready to travel anywhere for your event.

----- What can I offer? -----

1) Alluring dance shows

For 15 mins or for a full evening, dive into the richness of Indian arts.

I can perform all the styles listed above. I can also perform with 1 or 2 more dancers and two musicians (on demand).

Some props can be used in the dance such as veils, fan veils, candlelights, matka / charipots.

My dance shows offer an immersive experience into indian culture and guarantee a pleasent atmosphere for a moment out of time.

2) Entertainment

Transition times between the functions, waiting time for the food, and dancefloor opening. Those timings are also very important in an event's atmosphere!

Many things can be done to entertain your guests during those moments: dancefloor animation, dance workshop, activities for kids...

3) Sangeet choreography service, dance classes

I can prepare you or your family, friends, and relatives to surprise everyone on your big day.

I make personalized choreographies, according to your preferred style, song and your dance level. Being an outsider to Indian culture myself, I've been through the process of learning a different body language. Through this experience and my teaching experience with French students, I found tools to make anyone dance (and slay !)

I can teach all the styles listed above.

I offer online classes, and I can travel to your venue to provide rehearsals if required (additional cost to be determined).

-Booking inquiries received less than two weeks prior event date will automatically be refused.

-Transport, meals and accommodation expenses should be covered with any booking (accommodation can also be hosted at someone's place).

Like all artists, I am very dedicated in what I do and I seek for quality in anything I create, which often requires high costs, be it training, rehearsal spaces, production, costumes...

But I'm also a passionate individual who wants to spread their love for the art to people from all societal categories.

My fares are reflecting the middle ground between those two aspects.

Therefore, I'm asking you to stick to the quotes, or look for another professional. In other terms, no bargaining please !

If you have a tight budget please communicate it in the beginning and I will offer you options matching your budget.
