Terms & Conditions – String Quartet Services 1. Booking & Confirmation A booking is confirmed once the client completes the reservation through GigHeaven and the required deposit has been paid via the platform. The performance date is reserved exclusively for the client upon confirmation, and all other enquiries for that date are declined. 2. Payment GigHeaven processes all payments and applies its standard 10% platform fee. Any remaining balance is handled according to GigHeaven’s payment schedule and terms. Failure to complete payments as required may result in cancellation of the booking. 3. Cancellation & Reserved Date Compensation All bookings reserve a specific performance date and time exclusively for the client. In the event of cancellation by the client, the following cancellation fees apply based on the total agreed performance fee: More than 60 days before the event: 50% of total fee payable 30–60 days before the event: 75% of total fee payable 14–30 days before the event: 100% of total fee payable Less than 14 days before the event: 100% of total fee payable plus any non-recoverable travel or accommodation costs (if applicable) These fees reflect loss of earnings due to date reservation and the inability to accept alternative bookings. Any payments already processed through GigHeaven will be deducted from any outstanding balance owed. 4. Platform Terms All bookings made through GigHeaven are also subject to the platform’s own terms, payment handling, and refund processes. The ensemble is not responsible for platform processing times, disputes, or administrative decisions made by GigHeaven. 5. Performance Time & Packages Performance is provided according to the agreed package (Ceremony / Ceremony & Cocktail / Full Wedding Experience). Each package includes defined sets and coverage time as stated in the booking. Delays caused by the event schedule do not reduce performance time where reasonably possible, but may be adjusted at the ensemble’s discretion. 6. Venue, Access & Conditions The client is responsible for ensuring safe and suitable performance conditions. Outdoor performances require appropriate shelter from sun, wind, or rain. A stable, safe, and accessible performance area must be provided. Venue restrictions must be communicated in advance. 7. Travel & Additional Costs Travel costs may apply depending on location within Crete or surrounding areas. Additional accommodation or transport costs for remote or island locations will be agreed in advance if required. 8. Safety & Conduct The client is responsible for guest behaviour in relation to performers and equipment. The ensemble reserves the right to pause or stop performance if conditions are unsafe or disruptive. The ensemble is not liable for injury or damage caused by guests, third parties, or unsafe venue conditions. 9. Performance Setup Setup time is included within the booked performance window. The ensemble performs acoustically unless otherwise agreed in advance. Any amplification or technical requirements must be arranged prior to the event. 10. Dress Code The ensemble performs in formal wedding-appropriate attire unless otherwise requested. 11. Force Majeure The ensemble is not liable for non-performance due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including illness, extreme weather, travel disruption, or governmental restrictions. In such cases, reasonable efforts will be made to provide suitable alternatives or replacements. 12. General Agreement By confirming a booking through GigHeaven, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions. These terms apply in conjunction with GigHeaven’s platform policies. Any disputes are subject to applicable Greek law and platform rules where relevant.
