The answer to both of these might be the gig my jazz band and I did at the savoy hotel. It was a real buzz to host an evening of music at such an esteemed venue.

I’ve been a gigging musician since I was a teenager, however I would say my skills and experiences were formed and honed mainly during my time studying at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. I arrive usually an hour before I’m due to perform, and count a 1 hour set as 45 minutes of piano and a 15 minute break.
