Miss Dolores & Friends are a collection of top, professional musicians with an extensive repertoire of material from the Great American Songbook and beyond. Available from a duo up to a 6 or 7 piece, the band can cater for any venue, event or special occasion, from low key, elegant drinks receptions to weddings and dinner dances.
The band is female fronted with a rhythm section that includes piano, double bass and drums. Soloists can include saxophone, trumpet and guitar. They are fully self contained with PA equipment, amps and mood lighting.
Miss Dolores is highly experienced and dedicated to working closely with clients to deliver the best possible service for their event. Special song requests can be accommodated with notice.

We require a power supply and parking for up to 4 vehicles.
We need full address and any specific directions to help us find the venue. We will need to know what time we can arrive and where we can unload our equipment and park our cars. We would like to be informed if the venue has a sound limiter.
We are fully self contained with PA system, amps and mood lighting. We do not provide disco lighting.
We are happy to provide a Spotify playlist for between sets or play a clients playlist through the PA system.
Our gig CV is delightfully varied, and whether we are performing at a tiny intimate gathering in a private residence or trying to balance on a float at the Lord Mayor's Parade, we just love it!!
We love summer parties. Playing jazz on a warm summer evening as the sun goes down is blissful. Also, jazz gigs at Christmas are always fun. The timeless elegance of the songs lend themselves beautifully to the festive setting.
We can arrive up to 2 hours before the performance to ensure we are set up in plenty of time. Our usual performance times are 2 x 60 minute sets but we always discuss this with the client.
We are happy to perform outside as long as we have adequate covering to allow for all weather, and a power supply.
We are happy to try and learn a couple of new songs if requested in plenty of time. Clients are welcome to look through the set list and choose favourite songs, but we have a number of songs that we know work well together or that we play as a medley.
Previous clients have described the band as "truly sublime", "magical", "thoroughly entertaining", "top quality" and with an "excellent repertoire".
