I'm a 3 decade veteran of orchestras worldwide and a session player on several instruments at a major recording studio in Tennessee. I play in two bands for hire, and I am preparing the Miss Julie Bryce band as per the original material seen and heard on my YouTube links here and channel, which contains several albums of a genre called orchestral funk.
I have also frequently been a hired gun for wedding bands or any style, not just jazz and classical, as I am a reader of the highest level. I have my master's degree from the Manhattan School of Music, having also turned down admission to Juilliard and New England Conservatory for the choice of teacher, today the principal bassist of the New York Philharmonic. I run my own recording studio as an engineer and have taught music since the 80s. Besides my native English, I speak fluent German and lived nearly two decades in Zürich, Switzerland, as well as considerable time in Germany, Brazil and a year in France (2019) before repatriating to the USA during the covid year 2020.
