For a 7-member band, a stage with dimensions of approximately 6 meters wide by 4 meters deep (or 20 feet by 13 feet) should provide enough space for comfortable performance.

We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue and any challenges with parking vehicles to load in.

Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig. Any other requirement do ask, we try and accommodate your needs.

Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.

Nealy all of our musicians hold tertiary qualification in musical performance and have many years of live performance experience as individuals ,ensemble or band members with local, national and international artis.

We love playing at all sorts of events but weddings, private functions like birthdays are our favourite as well as corporate events like end-of-year celebrations. The guests are always happy and it’s easy to get them dancing.

We started as a musicians jamming club weekly meet up and then realised we had some really talented musicians and decided to form a band with the genre we love playing. Our very first gig was a cruise ship Christmas function on Sydney harbour.

Obviously we have been influenced by the Motown record label era of artists from 1960's-1970's and all contemporary artists who were influenced by them.

We normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up our gear. We normally perform 2-3 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best.

We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.

We can learn specifically requested songs well before the event but we usually limit this to 4-5 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them from our setlists.
