We are a MusiComedy duo from Ireland & Wales, based in Munich and perform in German and/or English.
We have performed in over 40 countries including Australia & New Zealand entertaining people of all ages since 1979.
Our shows are constantly moving with the times and include a vast collection of songs from the past 70 years to the present.
With plenty of comedy, jokes, gags, parodies and sketches and a positive emphasis on audience participation – suited to all ages – we ensure a highly enjoyable and unforgettable experience no matter where we are: Open-Airs, Galas, Clubs, Theaters – or for private engagements such as Weddings, Birthdays & Corporate Events!
We also make every effort to personalise private events as much as possible and carefully construct individual shows as best we can to accommodate the requirements of the host and the occasion so that we can deliver a uniquely customised show to make it extra special.

We are pretty self sufficient and flexible, so depending on the venue, performance time and audience capacity (and country), we have everything we need unless crowds exceed 500.
Load-in info, parking possibility for a Sprinter tour bus.
Yes, we have our own equipment, basic lighting and transport. For international gigs we need to discuss details depending on the event.
Yes! We also have our own playlists covering most genres which are very popular. Spotify and our own DJ-ing is an additional option.
It is also possible for the host to play their own playlists through our sound system.
Throughout our 47 years on the road and literally thousands upon thousands of gigs behind us, we have had too many special moments to even try to make a short list. We have played for very tiny crowds and to huge crowds, multiple TV shows in different countries, met many famous people and have played a vast array of shows and even hold a Guinness World Record!!
Every and any event where we have clearly connected with people through laughter and music. It's really like coming as strangers and leaving as friends. The ever growing collection of messages, mails, postcards and letters we have received over the years, along with the hundreds of newspaper reviews and friends we have made, reflect the priceless positive feedback we have been gifted with and makes our life-choices in MusiComedy undeniably a wonderful privilege.
Mark is from Cardiff, Wales and I, Simon, am from Dublin, Ireland. We met in July 1979 as street musicians in Munich, Germany. Ever since then we have played together and basically learned our Stagecraft from playing, singing and entertaining on the streets of Europe, mainly in the German speaking regions, but also in Scandinavia etc. After several successful TV appearances in the 80s & 90s in Germany (Alfred Biolek/ Thomas Gottschalk), new doors opened for us and we still continue to happily hit the road and experience new adventures.
A simple question this is NOT as we are continually influenced by endless sources of creativity. The lists of musicians, songwriters, authors and comedians is practically infinite and couldn't possibly be listed in a short answer. We value authenticity and tend to set our focus on evergreens and better known songs that are more easily identifiable with people in general and then add our interpretations with lots of British humour and off-the-wall improvisation. We have a huge repertoire, play multiple instruments, have written our own songs and released records and a CD along the way too. The greatest song of all time hasn't been written yet but we're working on it.

Unless otherwise requested, we generally arrive 3-4 hours before show time so that set-up and soundcheck is finished before guests arrive. Officially our 2 x 45min plus encores is in reality definitely longer, but we are extremely flexible and can adapt to any time restrictions to accommodate other activities, kitchen staff etc. Standard gigs are around 50-60 mins and then 1 to 2 hours as is requested.
Usually it's no problem to play outside and like other performers, we would need some protection from direct sunlight.
We are more than happy to accommodate any requests/wishes from clients whenever possible. These have to be discussed directly with the client.
