The band performs Italian and international songwriting standards (Fabrizio de André, Giorgio Gaber, Leonard Cohen, Violeta Parra, Caetano Veloso and many others), as well as songs made famous by extraordinary performers such as Renato Carosone, Fred Buscaaglione, Edith PIaf, Charles Trenet, Mercedes Souza, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald...) The repertoire may include Neapolitan and Italian traditional and folk songs and also original songs written for the band.
"Barbera & Champagne" may be suitable for different kinds of events, as the repertoire is varied and flexible: we can give a touch of Italianess to your Wedding Party, or we can play an entirely international repertoire, singing in 6 different languages and dialects (English, Italian, French, Spanish, Neapolitan, Greek) . Our voices - a female lead voice, plus 2 males voices - are often blended in perfect harmony, thus enriching the band's sound.
