The best gig I’ve ever played was one of my closest friend’s weddings. Being trusted to soundtrack such an important moment in someone’s life — especially someone I care about — was incredibly special. Every part of the day felt deeply personal, from performing during the ceremony to leading everyone into the evening celebration. It reminded me why I love what I do: creating moments that stay with people forever.

I love performing at all types of events — from private parties to corporate celebrations — but weddings will always be my favourite. There’s something special about being part of such a meaningful day, especially when I get to shape the atmosphere from the very first moment of the ceremony all the way through to the energy of the evening party. I love creating a vibe, with a modern, alternative twist, often performing soulful rock, indie and alternative covers that feel fresh, stylish, and personal to each couple. My favourite events are the ones where I’m there for the full journey — setting the tone during the vows, adding warmth and connection throughout the drinks reception, and then getting everyone singing and fully immersed on the dance floor as the night comes alive.

I first got into gigging after moving to Wales, where I began performing in hotels, restaurants, bars, and boutique venues. What started as a few intimate performances quickly grew into a steady stream of bookings, and I became known for creating atmospheric, soulful live music that suited both relaxed settings and high-end events. Over the years I honed my craft through countless live shows, learning how to read a room, shape the energy of an event, and deliver consistently refined performances.

This experience naturally led me into private events and weddings — the spaces where my style and approach fit best. Today, I perform at luxury weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations across the UK (and internationally when requested), offering a polished, elegant and alternative twist on modern live music. Each event builds on the years I’ve spent perfecting my sound and creating meaningful, unforgettable atmospheres for clients.

Dave Grohl is one of my biggest influences because of his raw authenticity, emotional connection, and the balance he brings between intensity and sincerity. His approach to music inspires the honesty and passion I put into every performance. I love weaving my influences into my sets too, adding Foo Fighters and Nirvana tracks whenever the moment fits — bringing a touch of alternative energy while keeping everything elegant and soulful.

For me, the greatest song of all time is a controversial one - Chop Suey by System Of A Down. Not only is it extremely nostalgic for me but it is an absolute anthem, gets the crowd singing and gets the crowd hyped up!

I typically arrive around an hour before the event to set up, sound-check, and get acquainted with the venue and staff. For wedding ceremonies, I usually perform 3–6 songs, which can include optional pre-ceremony music as guests arrive, the processional, songs during the signing of the register, and the recessional. I also offer a 60-minute drinks reception set, the first dance if requested, and up to two 45-minute upbeat evening sets before the band or DJ takes over. This gives couples a fully tailored, seamless musical experience from the ceremony through to the evening celebration.

I meet with clients several times before the event to go through repertoire and ensure every song fits the atmosphere they envision. I’m happy to learn up to five new, meaningful songs, making the performance as personalised and bespoke as possible. Every event is carefully tailored, ensuring the music complements the unique tone and emotion of the day.
