Oliver Sax Solo Sax Performer / Sax + DJ / Jazz Trio -- for luxury events and more!

I always bring my saxophone, laptop and wireless microphone to all shows.
For smaller venues, I can bring a Bluetooth Box to connect with - for bigger venues, I can bring a sound system of up to 4 boxes plus a mixer.

If possible, please provide me with:
- a table to put my equipment on
- at least 6 power sockets as close as possible to the stage or enough extension cables to connect me to at least 3 power sockets
- a backstage room to change and retreat between sets

I need to know any directions that helps me find the venue as well as the right place to load our equipment.
Please let me know about the parking situation at the venue.

depending on the size of the venue, I can provide sound equipment.
only in combination with DJ cooperation partners (e.g. package Sax + DJ) we can provide both sound and lighting equipment!

yes and no - the background Spotify service is included in the SOLO SAX package before and between sets // the package SAX + DJ provides both Spotify and (!) DJ service throughout the whole duration of the event // the package JAZZ TRIO does not (!) include any Spotify / DJ service between sets

One of the best performances ever was a crazy night at a Hotel in Vienna, performing for more than 200 fans of Taylor Swift who were heart-broken as the concert got cancelled last minute. To give them something to celebrate in spite of all led to a very special and somewhat intimate musical and emotional connection between the musicians and the audience, it felt incredible to receive this type of feedback!

There can be so much beauty in everything if you put your mind to it and make it happen - weddings, corporate events, proposals, clubbing events all hold special moments to emotionally touch the guests and get them moving to the music!

I started my musical career on the drums and switched to saxophone at age 14. After a couple of years on the sax, I chose to work as a saxophonist for a living and developed my performances from there. Working with musical colleagues like my trio partners or the DJs I currently work with fulfills me both musically and emotionally and I´ve performed at hundreds of weddings, parties and events all across Europe and beyond.

saxophone players I´ve been most influenced by include Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, Sonny Rollins, Stan Getz, Paul Desmond, Chris Potter, Michael Brecker, Baptiste Herbin, Patrick Bartley and many more.
DJs I´ve been most influenced by include AVICII, Paul Kalkbrenner, Eric Prydz, Black Coffee, Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Carl Cox, Daft Punkt and many more.

I usually arrive 1-2 hours before the performance to set up everything.
The SOLO SAX package includes sets of 2 x 25 minutes for every hour, the SAX + DJ package includes music throughout the event without any breaks and at least 3 x 15 minutes of saxophone performance every hour, and the JAZZ TRIO package includes 50 minutes per hour of live music.

yes - but I need the organizer of the event to provide a wind and weatherproof performance area as well as shades, a flat level surface and enough power supplies close to the stage!

I limit specific requests to 4 songs per performance on every package deal. The clients are very welcome to pick a set list from the repertoire or let me choose the music for them.
