Solo violinist for weddings with pop, jazz, classical and latin repertoire. Based in Chania, Crete.
I have been playing the violin since the age of five, following a classical training path and earning my Violin Diploma at the age of nineteen. I subsequently obtained additional qualifications, including diplomas in Advanced Music Theory, Harmony, and Counterpoint, culminating in a Bachelor's degree in Musicology and a Master of Arts (MA) in Jazz Performance with a specialization in violin.
I place the highest priority on artistic aesthetics and the pursuit of an impeccable musical result, striving to deliver performances of the highest artistic and professional standard.
I have performed at numerous weddings and marriage proposals, both as a solo artist and as a member of various ensembles.
My priority is to ensure that, during one of the most meaningful moments in a couple's life, the music enhances every emotion with elegance, sensitivity, and authenticity. Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music
I ve been playing violin from the early age of 5 and start ed performing in an audience professionally at the age of 16. I also hold a Masters Degree (MA) in Jazz Violin Performance. Have played in numerous weddings, venues, festivals and other events. Have participated in bands of many styles, from jazz, to pop or folk. Secondarily,I also play guitar and sing.
I normally arrive 2 hour before the performance to set up. Inormally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets. I am happy to play a bit longer or shorter.
I am happy to play outside. I only need some shade preferably.
I can learn your favourite songs before the event. The clients are welcome to pick a set list or let me choose the music for them.
