OverFunk's repertoire ranges through funk in all its nuances, from evergreen covers rearranged in funk style, to funky disco and dance rhythms
of the 70's 80's and 90's to make you dance like creazy until the end of the party. A cheerful and broad repertoire, able to adapt easily to the type of event and to the atmosphere of the moment.
OverFunk offer an entertaining and tasteful show, which traces the history of funky music (from James Brown, Steve Wonder, Jackson 5, through the 70s/80s funky disco of Chic and Donna Summer, to the Italian funk of Dirotta su Cuba, until most recent record releases of the genre, like The Weeknd, Bruno Mars, Dua Lipa), with a broadly known and danceable repertoire.

We need to know
- if there is a space to change clothes and store the instrument cases during the show
- if the band has to replace (moving the equipment) during the performance
- if there are relevant directional indications to reach the venue
Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig.
Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify or locally downloaded playlists before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music. We strictly require to know in advance if the streamed music must be played in a separate location in the venue, or with a separate sound diffusion system.
We love playing at all sorts of events but weddings are our favourite! The guests are always happy and it’s easy to get them dancing.
Among our mostly influential artists we can mention Scary Pockets, Stevie Wonder and Donna Summer.
We normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 70 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets, but we may shorten the performance if the customer asks so.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
We can learn specific songs before the event but we have to know the requested songs at least 30 days before. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.
