About / Biography

My name is Mr. Peter Peter, jazz-piano artist, coctail-lunch piano artist and jazz-singer.

I graduated from the jazz department of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, where I obtained a performing artist/teacher diploma in 2010 and 2017.

My teachers was the best in the world in all genres (classical/jazz/barmusic).

As a creative and performing artist, my mission is to bring joy and entertainment to everyone in addition to coveying intellectual content, all while preserving and nurturing culture by conveying quality, creating value and passing it on to future and exsting generations.

In 2009 I was invited to the Montreux Jazz Piano Competition out of thousands of applicants.
In 2017 I won the best soloist award at the IX.th Youth International Jazz Competition with his unique piano playing.
In 2024, I became the Winner and Special Prize Winner of the National Barpiano Competition in memory of George Cziffra – to be held in Hungary -, which is a huge professional and cultural recognition.

I have been traveling the world since the age of fourteen, and in the meantime I had found my own musical style and world, which includes the true American jazz (Oscar Peterson), the be-bop, the avantgarde free improvisation style, the classical music, or a special mix of this last two.
The programs are also largely built around these styles, supplemented with some curious productions, such as
•Mr. Pinter‘s Hit Singer program,
Jazz-singing with Piano (80 songs) or the
Bar Music/Coctail-lunch Music Program,

the original american- and free avantgarde Jazz-Trio.

My Repertoire consists of 1.630 songs - that I play on a piano -, which includes
the most important songs of
Classical music,
Jazz Standards and Dixieland from the last 100 years (Nat Cole songs, L.O.V.E., By by blackbird, All of me, Autumn Leaves, Orange colored sky, It’s a long way to Tipperary, Muscrat Ramble, Swing that Music and 280 more…),
Music of 18 Nationalities (hungarian, yugoslav, russian, gypsy, jewish, swabian, italian, spanish, greek, french, german, english, irish, american, turkish, arabic, chinese, japanese),
Songs of old timer/early performers (Earth, Wind & Fire, Whitney Houston, Britney Spears, Stevie Wonder) and
Songs from present age (from Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, Brian McKnight, Postmodern Jukebox, Caro Emerald, Michael Bublé),
International film soundtracks (for ex. The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, Titanic, Casablanca, Lift me up_from a movie Black Panther),
International fairy tale soundtracks (The Wonderful Adventures of Niels, Walt Disney Tales, The Lion King, Cinderella),
In term of styles, I play Waltzes, R&B, Hip-hop, Tango, Beguine, Bossa-nova and Latin music.

During my concert tours, I had played with internationally renowned European and American artists and world stars, such as
Ed Thingpen (drummer of the world-famous Oscar Peterson Trio_U.S.A.),
Howard Curtis (professor of the University of Graz, jazz drummer_New York/Berlin),
Lee “Plink” Floyd (banjo_U.S.A.),
Will Kennedy (drummer of the Jallow Jackets_New York),
Angela T. Clark (vocal_U.S.A.),
Zoltán Csörsz (drums_Sweden),
Roby Lakatos (violin_Belgium),
Tony Lakatos (saxophone_Germany),
Tony Pusztai (guitar_Austria),
Roland Balogh (guitar_Hungary),
Alex Man (guitar_Romania),
Paolo Damiani (cello_Italy),
Nicolas Simion (saxophone_Romania),
Louie Austen (vocals_Austria),
Brad Vee Johnson (vocals_New York).

During my performances, something unexpected always happens, that captivates the audience.
My unique voice, combined with the unique style of dress and remarkable athletic appearance always makes the desired impact.
As a result of 28 years of determined and purposeful workshop work, Clients and Customers can choose from these styles and programs, which can be a cultural and entertainment jewel for award ceremonies, business- and private events and also Jazz festivals.

I like every type of events, because I give myself in music, that means quality, happiness and unique also:)!

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I stay in a stage and playing on a piano for a audience & people since 24 year.

My father was also a musician, so the love of the music comes from him and started by me, when I was 6 years old.

In that time my papa had rehearsaled with a band and in addition, he played in a pub.

When I first heard them to practice the songs and by the way walked into the pub, I breathed in the air and sensed the smoke and the life...

I really liked it.
That was the mainpoint for me, when I decided to become a musician myself.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

In my teen ages Oscar Peterson, George Benson, Muddy Waters, B. B. King, Stéphane Grappelli and the great jazz giants had me influenced.
