We love playing music and entertaining audiences. Every performance we do is better than the last and our audiences always have a great time. Weddings and receptions are always a great time.
The Private Affair Band originated as a police band, consisting of officers with a strong musical background. Currently, the band consists of several police officers, who are also professional musicians. A few of PAB musicians have performed with some of the greatest college marching bands in the nation and have gone on to receive music degrees and a Grammy award.
Some of our favorite artists are Earth, Wind & Fire, Prince, Marvin Gaye, The Barkays, Cameo, Aretha Franklin, Kool and the Gang, Stevie Wonder, Mary J. Blige, Michael Jackson and many others.
We arrive two hours before events, however, our typical setup time is ninety minutes when setting up our sound reinforcement equipment and ten minutes if the venue has its own backline. We generally perform two sets, each lasting forty-five to sixty minutes.
We perform inside and outside, in all weather conditions.
The Private Affair Band accepts music requests.
Previous Private Affair Band clients describe our performances as "Amazing, Awesome, Great and Fabulous." Most of our business comes from repeat clients and referrals.
In addition to DJ services, the Private Affair Band offers MC services for all events.
