This increasingly popular Margate based six- piece band go from strength to strength. More often seen at the choicest venues Margate, Canterbury, Whitstable and Folkestone.
Soulful Classics are the staple. Jazzspirational grooves are essential plus upbeat funky numbers to bring the vibe and on the spot improvisation, 'true' stories and acid jazz flights make the cherry on top go POP! Come ready to laugh and dance.
Great highs have followed their launch year where the band supported the original 'Rammer Jammer' Gino Washington. 2014 brought the exciting start of their monthly Sunday Soul Sessions at the Gulbenkian Cafe (University of Kent) as well as great support for gigs and Main Stage set during 2015s hugely popular Margate Soul Festival.
Their successful introduction to Margate during 2013's One Love festival has cemented the town's love of their upbeat soul brand with regular with gigs and party nights scheduled throughout the year at Morgan's Vintage Dance Hall and unexpected 'pop ups' at the iconic Dreamland bandstand and the open air stage at the newly refurbished Folkestone Harbour Arm.
“We really try not to oversell ourselves in each area and will only play one or two venues in each town. This band is our train set. But don't assume we are not serious about music. This is great train"

And some!
An area about 16' x 12' would be comfortable. Please make sure the space is clean and clear for our arrival and that there is power run to the area you need us to play. If we are playing outside. Please make sure the playing surface is level and there is a covering in case it is too hot or if it rains.
Let us know about what happens when we land (parking , stairs, unloading)
Oh! Tell us if there is a sound limiter!
We provide PA and lighting for the band
Use our PA for your playlist before between and after our set. Or, we can provide one.
We were the opening act for the Rammer Jammer himself Geno Washington
We just love Parties!
We have been playing together since 2012. We are a group of fast friends.
We are told it shows that we are all having fun. The band is packed with groovy Jazzers. They know how to extend your favourite tune into a 12” party classic that keeps everyone on the dance floor!
We love Stevie, James Brown, Jermaine Jackson and as Ginger is a mezzo soprano she can sing in all the original keys. Plus reach the soaring heights of the divas in songs like Got to be Real, Respect, Somebody Else’s Guy.
Never! - if we say we are going to be there. We will be. We have never cancelled a wedding or party..
We can perform for 2hrs with a short break between.
We like to allow 1.5 hours for set up and a discreet Soundcheck.
This is a good start but tell us what you need.
We love playing outside. We just need a flat surface with/ near power and cover or a contingency in case of extreme weather.
We can learn a song or two. There may be a fee for this
Well you could pick the whole set list but trust us. We're a great little band that's why you booked us. If you especially love some songs on our song list, let us know and we will make sure we include as many of them as possible on the night. Equally tell us what songs you really don't like and we will avoid them.
The only thing we try to politely discourage is when brides (and grooms) email through the exact set list. This makes it very difficult for the band who would usually choose their set based on a number of factors. When a band puts a set list together they’ll consider their audience, which songs go well together, which are nice to start with and which really end the night well. A set list is something that needs careful consideration which is why it’s nearly always best to leave it up to the band.
This was our last comment. YESTERDAY - 19/7
“You were so brilliant yesterday. OMG, every single person came up to me and said you were all so so talented. And how funny you are I can’t thank you enough for making such an effort to make it so great”
