With over 15 years of experience under my belt (and a microphone always close to hand), I’ve been lucky enough to perform at weddings, festivals, corporate events, and live shows across the UK — bringing the party, the feels, and everything in between.
One of my favourite recent moments? Stepping onto the stage at De Montfort Hall to sing for the Royal British Legion in October 2024 — an honour and an absolute joy. I’m all about creating meaningful, unforgettable experiences, whether I’m performing for a buzzing festival crowd or serenading a couple during their first dance. Big stage or small gathering, my aim is the same: to leave people smiling (and hopefully singing along).
I hold a BA Hons in Professional Musicianship (Vocals) from the Brighton Institute of Modern Music — the same place that helped launch the careers of George Ezra, James Bay, and Tom Odell. Surrounded by such inspiring alumni, I left determined to carve out my own musical path.
Along the way, I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with some seriously talented pros, including Elliot May (Basement Jaxx), Kieron Pepper (The Prodigy), and Georgia Train (who’s worked with the likes of Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran). Every session taught me something new and pushed me to be the best performer I can be.
My work’s been featured on BBC South News, Cross Counties Radio, and I’ve popped up for a few chats on BBC Radio Leicester too — always a great excuse to talk all things music (and maybe plug a gig or two!).
When I’m not on stage, you’ll find me teaching vocals through my business, Purdey’s Singing Academy. Watching my students grow in skill and confidence — and sometimes completely surprise themselves — is one of the most rewarding parts of my week.

Too hard to name just one song!
I normally arrive 1-2 hours before the performance to set up. I normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets. However, I'm happy to play a bit longer or shorter but I've found that these set times suit me and my audiences best
I'm happy to sing outside but I ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area - We will also need to keep an eye on the weather.
I can learn specific songs before the event - The clients are welcome to pick a set list from my repertoire or let me choose the music for them.
I often receive feedback praising how polished and professional my sets are, as well as how personable I am — people really appreciate the humour and energy I bring to every performance. I'm also frequently complimented on my versatility and my ability to adapt seamlessly to a wide range of genres.
