Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

"We need a performance space of at least 8 meters x 5 meters. We require 2 x 13 amp power sockets and 3 parking spaces."

What information do you require about a venue?

"We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue."

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

"Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig."

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

"Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music."

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

It's hard to pick just one, but some of my most memorable gigs have been performing at major reggae and ska festivals, where the atmosphere is incredible and thousands of people come together to celebrate great music.

What's your favourite type of event?

Every event has its own magic, but weddings are probably my favourite. Being part of such a special day and seeing guests of all ages come together on the dance floor is something I'll never get tired of.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

Everything started as a solo singer, performing at local venues and events while building a reputation for delivering great live entertainment. From those early performances, demand continued to grow, leading to hundreds of weddings, private parties, festivals, and corporate events across the UK and beyond.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

My biggest musical influences include Bob Marley, UB40, Gregory Isaacs, Dennis Brown, John Holt, Beres Hammond and Ken Boothe.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

"We normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best."

Are you happy to perform outside?

"We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

"We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 5 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them."

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

They regularly comment on my warm stage presence, strong vocals and ability to connect with audiences of all ages. Previous customers would describe us as a high energy that loves to get the audience on their feet dancing."
