Ricardo Marques is a Brazilian trumpeter and arranger based in Hartford, Connecticut, with deep experience in orchestras and big bands. A graduate of the Tom Jobim University of Music in São Paulo, he played second trumpet in the São Paulo state youth orchestra, performed with the youth symphonic jazz orchestra at the Campos do Jordão winter festivals, and worked across big bands, musicals and television in Brazil.
Since moving to the US he has held the second trumpet chair with the Danbury Symphony Orchestra and performs with the Hamden Symphony and a symphonic choir in New York. Available for events, bands and weddings.
