Riga Dance Collective can make your dreams come true with a great evening of folk dancing and the smallest folklore show on the smallest stage in the world.
Latvian folk dancing is now not just for Latvians and we perform not only Latvian dances but also polkas, couples dances, competitive dances and foursomes popular in Europe.
Our musicians and dance teachers are young but professional.
The very special instrument kokle (Baltic psaltery) provides an unusual and very sensual dance experience.
Our performances are mostly in two or three parts, i.e. folk show + kokle performance + energetic folk dances.
We have more than 20 musicians, but mostly 7 - 10 people come.
The smallest group of musicians could be 3 - 4 people.
We use only acoustic folk instruments.
