The Rondino String Quartet is a Manchester based group of professional musicians with a very wide range of experience and repertoire.
They have travelled extensively in the UK and Ireland, providing music for a wide range of special events with programmes of music that are tailored to fit the occasion - from Bach to the Beatles, grand opera to stage musicals, Lady Gaga to Metallica.
Whether it be an intimate dinner party, wedding party or a special day in your life, the Rondino String Quartet are able to create just the right atmosphere to make any celebration that bit more memorable.
Having considered our repertoire, if you should find that there is a piece of music that you would like included in the programme for your day then it may well be possible to make a special arrangement of music just for you.
The Rondino String Quartet is able to perform at smaller, more intimate occasions, using a string trio or duo.

We need a performance space of roughly 3m x 2m and 4 armless chairs.
We arrive 30-45 mins prior to the start time to liaise with the venue staff and be directed to the best place to set up.
We are acoustic so don’t require a PA.
No though we do ask the venue staff to play their own background music between sets.
We are all graduates of the RNCM and have over 15 years experience performing at weddings and events.
We normally arrive 30-45 mins before the performance to set up.
For longer performances of 2 hours + we will require a few short comfort breaks, but we try to incorporate these into natural musical breaks, such as group photos, speeches or changes of guest location.
Yes proving there is no chance of rain, there is protective cover / a suitably shaded area and the temperature is at least 17 degrees.
Our clients are free to choose as much of their own music as they like.
If they are happy specify a genre or vibe, we can choose appropriate pieces from our list of over 3000 pieces.
We are happy to source new music, but there may be a small charge to create a specific arrangement from scratch.
