In Mongolia, he is a regular at major festivals such as Love & Nature Festival, Playtime Festival, and UBDUBCLUB-presented events, where he showcases both digital and vinyl sets.
His style flows smoothly between deep dub, roots reggae, funk, and soulful grooves, creating an immersive experience for dancers and listeners alike. In addition to DJing, he can also deliver MC performances to engage the crowd and build energy throughout the event.
Selector Tsengee performs solo with a professional digital setup and is also equipped for vinyl sets upon request. Whether you're hosting a cultural event, underground dance night, or an outdoor gathering, his versatile and conscious selection brings people together through music.

We require a performance space of at least 2 meters x 1.5 meters with:
At least 1 power socket (13 amp or equivalent) nearby
Speakers (PA system) suitable for the event size
Audio extension cables (RCA or XLR) to connect to the venue’s sound system
If a vinyl set is requested:
2 x turntables (Technics SL-1200 or equivalent)
1 x DJ mixer with phono input
Stable table for vinyl setup
Setup time of at least 30 minutes is appreciated for soundcheck and preparation.
We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and locate the best place to load in our equipment.
It’s important to be informed if there is a sound limiter in the venue.
We also need to know whether the PA system, power outlets, and any DJ equipment (e.g. turntables or mixer) are available on-site.
I provide my own DJ equipment and can connect to the venue’s existing PA system.
I do not provide lighting equipment, but can work with any setup provided by the venue.
For small events, I may be able to bring a basic speaker system if requested in advance.
Yes, I’m happy to play background music from Spotify or a DJ playlist before, after, and between my sets.
I'm flexible – I can select the music myself or play a playlist provided by the client.
The best gigs I’ve played were at Playtime Festival and Love & Nature Festival in Mongolia. Both had amazing energy, open-air stages, and a deeply connected crowd — unforgettable experiences.
I love events where people come for the music — whether it’s a small underground party, a cozy art space, or a festival stage. As long as the vibe is right and the sound is good, that’s my favorite place to play.
I started gigging through the UBDUBCLUB collective in Mongolia, where I’ve been active as a reggae community manager and selector. That experience gave me the foundation to play at grassroots events and organize local reggae nights.
After moving to Japan, I became a regular at Shinjuku Open Dub Club, performing alongside other selectors and live acts. Since then, I’ve played at clubs, cultural events, and outdoor festivals in both Mongolia and Japan.
I was first inspired to start DJing by DJ OG, one of the pioneers of reggae sound system culture in Mongolia. His passion and energy influenced me deeply.
Musically, I’ve been moved by the works of Bob Marley — especially “No Woman, No Cry”, which I consider a truly timeless and emotional song.
Another major influence is his son Damian Marley, with tracks like “Welcome to Jamrock” shaping my taste for heavy, conscious reggae and dancehall.
There are so many great songs, it’s hard to choose just one — but those two always stay close to my heart.
Absolutely — I can tailor the mood and genre to match your event theme or brand identity.
My ideal performance format is two 45-minute sets, allowing enough space for build-up and flow.
I usually require 30 to 60 minutes for setup and soundcheck before the first set.
Longer or continuous sets are also possible depending on the event schedule and energy of the crowd.
If a vinyl set is requested, setup may take slightly longer to ensure proper calibration.
Yes, I’m happy to perform outside — but I do prefer shade and cool conditions!
Coming from Ulaanbaatar, the coldest capital city in the world, I’m not the biggest fan of heat.
If it’s an outdoor event, I’d appreciate a shaded area, fan, or any way to keep the setup cool so I can focus on delivering the best music.
I’m always open to requests — as long as they fit the vibe of the event and don’t disrupt the musical flow.
I carefully craft each set to maintain a certain energy and atmosphere, but I’m happy to include tracks the client loves if they align with the mood.
It’s all about finding the right balance between my style and what the audience connects with.
Clients often describe me as a very reliable and crowd-focused DJ who always delivers the right vibe.
I’m known for creating a strong atmosphere through good music, positive energy, and full presence behind the decks.
