Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

I need
- a performance space of at least 2.5 x 2 meters
- one parking space within walking distance of the venue

What information do you require about a venue?

I need to know where I can park my car and how to access the venue.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes, I provide a basic sound system with two amplifiers:
- Schertler Unico amplifier (280 Watt) and a Schertler David X amplifier (120 Watt)

For small and medium-sized performances, these amplifiers can be used as the main sound system. Both amplifiers can be operated usingmy mobile battery power stations, allowing the amplification system to be used independently of mains electricity. If a suitable mains power connection is available, direct operation from the power grid is preferred.

For larger venues and events, a PA system is recommended. The need depends on the venue, audience size and performance setting and should be discussed individually. If a venue PA system is used, a qualified sound engineer / audio technician must be provided. No,

Stage lighting should be discussed individually according to the venue and performance concept; the artist brings his own rechargeable spotlight, while additional atmospheric lighting such as warm stage lighting or candles is always welcome.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

No, I dont't provide this service.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

One of my most memorable performances was a gala event at The Alpina Gstaad, where I performed live harp music alongside a contemporary dance performance. The elegant and sophisticated setting, surrounded by the Swiss Alps, created a truly magical atmosphere. The combination of live music, movement and an exclusive environment made it one of my most unforgettable performances.

What's your favourite type of event?

I particularly enjoy concerts, special outdoor events and weddings, especially in beautiful and inspiring settings such as gardens, lakesides, historic venues, castles and places with breathtaking views. I love creating music that feels personal and meaningful, whether celebrating an important moment, honouring someone’s life or simply inviting people to slow down, listen and enjoy the atmosphere.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I have been playing the harp for many years and started performing live by playing outdoors, especially by the lakes in Switzerland. I still regularly play by the lake today, where I love connecting with people through music in a natural and relaxed setting.

These outdoor performances gradually led to private events, weddings, farewell ceremonies, concerts, hotels and larger gala events. Today, I perform regularly across Switzerland, both as a solo harpist and in collaborations with singers and dancers.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

I have been particularly influenced by artists such as Ludovico Einaudi, Max Richter, Philip Glass and Hans Zimmer. I am drawn to music that is emotional, atmospheric and able to create a sense of space and stillness.

My favourite artist is the Dutch harpist Lavinia Meijer. I especially admire her deeply emotional way of playing and the way she brings so much expression and feeling to the harp. Her playing has inspired me to explore the harp not only as a classical instrument, but as a powerful way of expressing emotions.

Choosing the greatest song of all time is almost impossible, but “Oltremare” by Ludovico Einaudi would be one of my choices. Its emotional depth, sense of longing and beautiful simplicity are qualities that deeply resonate with me.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

I typically arrive around 45 minutes before the performance to allow enough time for setup and preparation. For amplified performances, I also allow time for a soundcheck.

Performance times can be adapted to the event, from short 30 to 45-minute sets to longer performances of up to 2 hours, for example two 45-minute sets with a break in between.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Absolutely. I particularly enjoy performing outdoors and have played regularly by lakes and in beautiful natural settings. Outdoor performances are a special part of my artistic work, as the harp blends beautifully with the atmosphere of nature.

I am happy to perform outdoors as long as the harp can be protected from direct sunlight and rain. In strong winds, however, an outdoor harp performance is unfortunately not practical, as the instrument is very sensitive to wind.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Clients are welcome to request specific pieces or songs in advance. I have a broad repertoire ranging from classical and neoclassical music to film music, pop covers and Celtic music, and I am happy to create a programme that suits the occasion and atmosphere.

For special requests outside my existing repertoire, I can also arrange individual pieces by prior agreement.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Clients often describe my performances as deeply emotional, atmospheric and authentic. They appreciate the warm and calming presence of the harp and how the music creates a special atmosphere without taking over the event.

I am often told that the music feels personal, moving and peaceful, and that it creates unforgettable moments for both the hosts and their guests.
