My music selection is fully customized based on the audience, event type, and energy required. I cover a wide range including Top 40, Retro Hits, Dance, Hip-Hop, R&B, EDM, and regional favorites.

Rather than using a fixed playlist, I read the crowd in real-time and adjust the music to maintain energy, engagement, and flow throughout the event.

My personal playlist is I would say not mainstream like Goa Trance, Retro EDM but my all time fav is to have a mix of everything and always be ready to play for the audience because in the end, its not my set, I am a corporate guy so I am used to playing what the audience wants, this is not Tmrwland LOL.

Sample Crowd Favorites:

Bruno Mars – Uptown Funk

Black Eyed Peas – I Gotta Feeling

Dua Lipa – Don’t Start Now

Usher – Yeah!

Avicii – Levels

Michael Jackson – Billie Jean

ABBA – Dancing Queen

Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

A proper sound system with microphone; wireless if you want me to move around and wired if not, and a DJ/Soundman that can play my backup songs and Mp3s.

What information do you require about a venue?

A few pictures or a video would be good so that I can visualise the program.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

I can arrange sound and lighting equipment at additional costs. Including large LED screens, special effects, video production - all the tech but choreographed to become a spectacular show.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes.

Do you offer emcee + DJ or sound packages?

Of course, hosting is my iron rice bowl but producing is my passion and choreography of elements makes me an impresario of dramatic arts. I directed Singapore's Grammy Awards and even produced and hosted the video to introduce artiste of the year.

And yes, I do offer bundled smaller solutions like new DJ, and sound system depending on your event requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

There's quite a few but I would name, a dinner and dance for Sunway Malaysia Staff. I have done quite a few events in Malaysia for audiences above 1000 paxs. Any venue is good as long as there is good entertainment and an audience that is ready to party! My last event was the Marina Bay Walkathon 2025 with Singapore's President as the guest of honour. Marina Bay's NYE Countdown 2023 and many smaller gigs all I will give my very best.

What's your favourite type of event?

Themed Parties and Events with audiences who are open minded and have a great sense of humour.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I was a happy hour DJ in a hotel in Singapore's Orchard Road (now Orchard Central), and I moved on to hosting corporate dinner & dances, family days, overseas conferences and retreats.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

Too many artistes hence The Entertainment Chameleon. Learn from the best and be the best!

What types of events do you specialize in?

I specialize in high-energy, interactive events including corporate functions, dinner & dance, team building sessions, and private celebrations. My style blends humour, audience engagement, and structured flow to keep energy high and guests involved throughout.

What makes you different from other emcees?

I don’t just host an event, I design the experience. With over 30 years in live entertainment, I combine comedy, crowd psychology, and timing with tech effects (music, lights, video, talents and special effects) to create spectacular shows.

Can you adapt to different audiences?

Yes. Every audience is different. And I have worked with people of all ages, races, cultures and nationalities. I adjust tone, humour, and energy based on the crowd, whether it’s corporate professionals, families, or mixed-age groups, so the experience always feels natural and engaging.

Do you provide games and audience interaction?

Absolutely. I incorporate interactive segments, games, and audience participation where appropriate to keep energy levels high and prevent the event from feeling static or overly formal, plus games that are aligned with the theme, the message, the brand, the audience and whatever the client wants me to align to.

How do you handle unexpected situations?

This is where experience matters. From technical delays to last-minute changes, I stay composed and use humour and improvisation to keep the audience engaged while the issue is resolved behind the scenes. I am also hands on as long as I can give the stage to someone then I will get down and do it myself.

Do you work with DJs, sound teams, or planners?

Yes, I regularly coordinate with DJs, AV teams, and event planners to ensure smooth transitions, proper timing, and a seamless overall experience.

Can you customize the program for our event?

Yes. I work closely with clients to understand their objectives, audience, and theme, then tailor the flow, tone, and segments to match the event perfectly.

How early do you arrive for an event?

I typically arrive early for sound checks, briefing, and coordination with the team to ensure everything runs smoothly from the start. And according to the time the client wants because I prefer to have one last round before the event just to make sure everyone will feel comfortable. I love telling my clients to sit back and relax and let us power their show.

What do you need from the organizer?

Depends on the day? How many days or months before?

Usually, the basic would be the rundown of the program, key highlights, and any important messaging. From there, I help refine the flow and bring it to life.

Can you help improve our event program?

Yes. Many clients engage me not just as a host but as a program strategist. I can suggest flow improvements, engagement ideas, and pacing adjustments to elevate the overall experience.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

I normally arrive according to the client's requirements to run through the program, do rehearsals and set up. I am at my best to host the opening of the show, and thereafter up to 4 sets of games and shows, and party with the DJ during disco.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Outdoors are cool and I am happy to host outdoor events but if it's in the day then no shows with costumes. I dont mind doing standup and songs.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

I am totally flexible and I love to hear of new ideas. My job is to deliver the best of what everyone involved, agrees.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Fun. Energetic. I got the audience to let down their hair. I broke the ice. I made everyone laugh. Etc
