Sizwe Mchunu, aka Mshudu, is a passionate Pietermaritzburg DJ and dance-music producer. Introduced to the art by his older brother in 2010, he spent his early years honing his craft behind the decks before branching into production in 2011, quickly gaining local recognition for his own sound.
His breakthrough came sharing the turntables with New York's Oscar P at My House in Johannesburg in 2012, and his music has since been aired to millions on Metro FM and YFM. He has shared the decks with many of South Africa's best - Black Coffee, Black Motion, Master KG, Sun-El Musician, Culoe De Song, DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small among them - and releases on international labels including Open Bar Music, MoBlack, Afro Rebel Music and Arawakan Records. Ideal for clubs, outdoor events and festivals.
