I need enough space for a single performer with amplifier, so about 2m square ought to suffice. Access to electricity is desirable, though I can operate using battery equipment.

I am completely self-sufficient regarding sound equipment, I have my own mic, stand, amplifier, leads etc., and my amp can be run from battery power. I do not have any lighting equipment.

I don’t use Spotify, though could provide some recorded music to precede my performance, if desired.

I played a 5 consecutive night booking in The Dirty Onion, one of Belfast’s most popular bars. This was during the Christmas run-up last year. It was very successful with plenary of singing along to the Christmas songs and dancing from the crowd.

I like playing bars and hospitality gigs during the Christmas holiday season, my act is season specific and folks are always really into enjoying the Christmas songs

I’ve been acoustic playing guitar and singing for decades now. I played many Open Mics in Belfast (and beyond). I’m also a member of a few music groups here, we play occasional gigs and I am a regular player in Irish Traditional and folk music sessions.

I’ve been influenced by many: Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie, Glen Campbell, Beatles, Pink Floyd, the Stones, an almost endless list. Regarding my particular Santa act I am influenced by some famous Christmas singers: Darlene Love, Bing Crosby, Bruce Springsteen (!), The Pretenders, Eartha Kitt, Dean Martin.
Favourite song of all time would be ‘Space Oddity’ by Bowie, it arrived at a special time in my life and it always delights me to hear it.

I normally arrive about 20 mins from start time (for local gigs), 30 mins for more distant, or unknown setups. My standard performance is 1 hour (I am playing songs as Santa, so that is a typical gig length). I can play an extended set for 2 hours (with a 15 min break). I can also be booked for non-singing appearances, sometimes folks only want. Santa character and do not need a music act.

I have a fairly specific set-list due to the nature of my gigs.
