Sensational Violin – Terms & Conditions 1. Bookings and Confirmation Bookings made through Gig Heaven are subject to confirmation of the event details, including the date, venue, performance times and agreed fee. Once the booking is confirmed, the agreed terms and performance arrangements will apply. 2. Payment Terms No deposit is required. Payment arrangements will be agreed through Gig Heaven, in accordance with the platform’s booking and payment procedures. Any additional services, extended performance time or expenses requested outside the original agreement may incur extra charges, which will be discussed and agreed in advance. 3. Cancellations If the client needs to cancel or amend a booking, they should notify me as soon as possible through Gig Heaven. Any cancellation fees, refunds or payment obligations will be handled in accordance with the agreed booking terms and applicable Gig Heaven policies. If I need to cancel due to exceptional circumstances, I will notify the client as soon as reasonably possible and make reasonable efforts to help find a suitable alternative where possible. 4. Performance Times and Breaks Performance times and durations will be agreed in advance. Additional playing time requested on the day is subject to availability and may incur an extra fee. Please allow sufficient time for setup and preparation before the agreed start time. Delays caused by the event running behind schedule may affect the performance duration. 5. Repertoire and Special Requests My repertoire includes classical music, romantic favourites, pop hits, film music and other popular styles. Specific song requests should be submitted in advance and are subject to availability and suitability for solo violin. Additional preparation or arrangements outside the agreed package may incur an extra charge, which will be discussed beforehand. 6. Equipment and Technical Requirements I provide my own violin and the equipment required for the agreed performance setup. Amplification requirements should be confirmed in advance. The client or venue must provide a safe and suitable performance area and access to a reliable power supply where required. Any additional technical equipment not included in the agreed package may incur an extra charge. 7. Outdoor Performances Outdoor performances require a safe, covered and sheltered area to protect the violin and equipment from rain, direct sunlight, excessive temperatures and strong wind. If weather conditions are unsuitable, I may request an indoor alternative or pause the performance until conditions are safe. 8. Travel and Parking Any applicable travel fees or additional expenses will be discussed and agreed in advance. The client should provide details of venue access and available parking where necessary. Additional parking or travel costs not included in the original quotation may be charged if agreed. 9. Client and Venue Responsibilities The client must ensure timely access to the venue and provide sufficient space for a safe performance. Any venue restrictions or changes to the event schedule should be communicated as early as possible. I cannot be held responsible for interruptions or delays caused by venue management, other suppliers, guests or circumstances beyond my reasonable control. 10. Unforeseen Circumstances If circumstances beyond either party’s reasonable control prevent the performance from taking place, both parties will make reasonable efforts to agree on a fair solution, taking account of the circumstances, the agreed booking terms and applicable law. 11. Photography and Recording Guests may take photographs provided this does not interfere with the performance. Professional recording, livestreaming or commercial use of the performance should be discussed and agreed in advance. I may request permission to use photographs or video clips for promotional purposes. Appropriate permission will be obtained before using identifiable images for promotion. 12. Liability I will take reasonable care to deliver the agreed performance professionally. I cannot be held responsible for circumstances beyond my reasonable control or for failures caused by the venue or third-party suppliers. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful. 13. Agreement By confirming a booking, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions and the specific performance details and fee agreed through Gig Heaven. All terms are subject to applicable law and any relevant Gig Heaven booking policies.
