It was a no brainer to hire him for our event. Communication leading up to the event was perfect with everything laid out. He arrived early to the venue for soundcheck and delivered an amazing set. If you want a multi talented musician with songs you can feel I would recommend wiseiris in a heart beat and we can't wait to have him back to perform for us in 2026." Frequently asked questions

The average cost of hiring R&B bands is £750, with prices from £150 to £3,050+. The main pricing factors are the number of musicians, performance duration and whether the band includes horn players and backing vocalists. Larger R&B line-ups with brass sections and multiple singers typically cost more than stripped-back combos.

The R&B bands perform rhythm and blues, neo-soul, contemporary R&B and classic soul music. Many bands cover hits from artists spanning several decades, from Motown through to modern R&B, creating a smooth and groovy setlist.

Many clients book R&B bands for weddings, corporate parties, birthday celebrations, gala dinners and private functions. R&B music creates a sophisticated yet soulful atmosphere that works for both relaxed dining and energetic dancing.

The R&B bands on Gig Heaven range from small three or four-piece groups to larger ensembles with backing singers and horn sections. A bigger line-up delivers a richer, fuller sound. Many bands offer flexible sizing to suit different events and budgets.

Most R&B bands are self-contained and provide their own PA system, instruments and amplification. For larger events, additional equipment may be required. Gig Heaven recommends confirming technical requirements with the band before booking.
