🏛️ Favourite Venues
Albert Hall Manchester, Troxy London and Manchester Academy are definite standouts. There's something special about performing on a proper concert stage!
Ultimately, though, it's the crowd that makes a gig unforgettable. Whether we're performing at a major event or an intimate wedding, our aim is always the same — create an incredible atmosphere and give everyone a night to remember! 🔥

🎸 We love any event where people are ready for a proper party!
Weddings, corporate events, private parties and festivals all bring something different, and that's what keeps things exciting for us.
❤️ Weddings – There's nothing quite like being part of someone's biggest day and creating memories they'll never forget.
🔥 Corporate Events & Private Parties – We love the freedom to get creative with our set, bringing unexpected medleys, huge anthems and plenty of energy.
🎤 Festivals & Live Concerts – Performing on a big stage with an enthusiastic crowd is always a fantastic experience.
Ultimately, it's not the type of event that matters most — it's the atmosphere! Give us a crowd that's up for a great night, and we'll give them a performance that feels like a live concert rather than a function. 🔥

🎸 The RUSH have been performing together for well over a decade, bringing high-energy live entertainment to weddings, corporate events, festivals and private parties across the UK.
🎤 Professional Musicians – Our members have performed and toured alongside artists including Beyoncé, Rihanna, Take That, Michael Bublé, Beverley Knight and Olly Murs.
🏆 Award-Winning Entertainment – We're proud winners of The Wedding Industry Awards' North West Band of the Year.
🔥 Incredible Experiences – From performing privately for the Liverpool FC squad to The Grand National, Manchester United for UNICEF and major concert venues, we've enjoyed some unforgettable gigs!
🎶 How It Started – The RUSH grew from a shared passion for live music and a desire to create something different from the typical function band.
Our aim has always been simple: combine exceptional musicianship with the energy, excitement and atmosphere of a live concert!

🎸 Our Influences
The RUSH draw inspiration from a huge range of artists, from classic soul and funk to indie, rock, hip-hop and dance music.
🎹 Stevie Wonder & Prince – Two particular band favourites! Their incredible musicianship, songwriting, groove and ability to blend genres have been huge influences on us.
🎤 Rock & Indie – Queen, Arctic Monkeys, The Smiths, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Kings of Leon.
🎧 Hip-Hop & Dance – Eminem, Dr. Dre, The Prodigy and 50 Cent.
🔥 Favourite Artists? Stevie Wonder and Prince would definitely be at the top of our list. Both are musical geniuses who have influenced generations of performers.
🎶 Greatest Song of All Time? That's almost impossible to answer! Stevie Wonder's Superstition would certainly be a contender, alongside Prince's Purple Rain.
We love music that makes people feel something, whether that's an incredible vocal, an infectious groove or a huge singalong!

🎸 We're not your typical function band!
The RUSH bring the energy of a live concert to every event, combining exceptional musicianship, huge vocals and our signature medleys and mashups.
Rather than simply playing one song after another, we create a show that flows naturally, mixing indie, rock, pop, hip-hop, funk and dance music in unexpected ways.
🔥 Our aim is simple: make your guests feel like they're at an incredible live concert, with a packed dance floor from start to finish!

🎶 Absolutely! We want the music to reflect you and your guests.
You're welcome to highlight your favourite songs from our repertoire, tell us which genres you love and let us know anything you'd rather avoid.
We use your preferences to shape the performance while keeping the flexibility to read the room and choose what works best on the night.
🔥 After hundreds of events, we've learned that the best dance floors happen when great planning meets a little spontaneity!

typically 2 x 45 mins but we can play 2 x 60 mins or 3 x 45 mins for an additional fee.

4. Do you perform mashups and medleys?
🔥 Absolutely! They're one of our trademarks.
We love taking familiar songs and combining them in unexpected ways, moving between genres and decades without losing the energy.
One minute you could be singing along to an indie anthem, the next you're dancing to a hip-hop classic!
🎶 Our arrangements are designed to surprise your guests, keep the music flowing and create moments.

❤️ We'd love to be part of such a special moment!
If your chosen song is already in our repertoire, we may be able to perform it live. For other songs, we're happy to discuss what's possible.
Alternatively, many couples prefer their original recording played through our professional sound system, its not about us at. that moment, its about you guys, so it makes no difference if we play it or not.
🎶 Whether you want a romantic moment together or something that gets everyone joining you on the dance floor, we'll help make it memorable.

🎶 We love getting the crowd involved!
Our live set is carefully structured to create the best possible atmosphere, but we're always happy to consider requests where they fit naturally into the performance.
🎧 If you've booked our professional DJ service, there's even more flexibility. Our DJ can respond to requests, read the dance floor and adapt the music throughout the evening.
🔥 We believe the best entertainment comes from connecting with the audience rather than following a rigid playlist.
