We need a performance space of at least 8x5 meters. We require minimum 4 sockets (we have our own extensions) for power, and 5 parking spaces.
We need to know directions, facilities for changing and for loading equipment in. I am always happy to have direct contact with a venue if it makes it easier on the client.
We are completely self contained. We bring a full PA system and basic lighting rig
We happily play a Spotify playlist before, after and between our sets. This can be provided solely by us, or the client can choose. A DJ service can be provided, for an additional cost.
We held a year long residency at famed 5 star hotel, Hotel Gotham, where we performed over 50 sold out shows and loved every minute of every gig! Aside from this we recently became the first ever big band to perform at a TED talk.
We love any event where we can tailor our performance especially for the client! Including client's favourite tunes is always a fun experience, and we love pushing our boundaries to accomplish this. We recently performed 'Chelsea Dagger' for a newly wed couple who spent the entirety of the song being thrown up in the air by their friends - we think it went down well!
We started as mates at University playing at the local fresher events! We bonded and developed as a band from there, and quickly started performing regularly across Manchester. From there, we have done countless weddings, parties, award shows and even performed overseas.
Frank Sinatra is at the heart of everything we do. Sinatra, as well as the rest of the Rat Pack, influence the show in its musical choices, showmanship and light heartiness. From there we bring in influences from RAYE, Michael Buble, Bruno Mars, Queen and countless more iconic artists.
We need 1.5 hours to fully set up and soundcheck. We are happy to do this at a suitable time before the event starts. We usually perform 2x60 minute sets or 3x 40 minute sets depending on the event. We are happy to be as flexible as possible to make the evening work.
We are happy play outside but depending on location/time of year, we may request to perform under cover. This is solely to protect our equipment. We would also need access to appropriate power.
Clients absolutely have a say! While we have a repertoire of over 100 carefully arranged songs spanning swing, jazz, pop, and soul, we work closely with each client to tailor our set to their event, ensuring the music fits the mood and their preferences perfectly.
