I'm a saxophonist and aspiring multi-instrumentalist, with experience of co-managing and playing in a 7-piece band. I've been playing for over 15 years and specialise in funk, R&B, jazz and a wide variety of other genres. I enjoy playing classics as well as contemporary music at functions, but I love to tailor my set-list to my clients' specific needs to make for a beautifully bespoke experience.
I usually require one parking space, a minimum of a 2x3m performance space. I would also require a minimum of one power socket, but usually liaise with the venue prior to match up needs with the client.
The floorplan, ease of parking and access to electrical equipment i.e. plugs/sockets. Acoustics and sound limiting will need to be tested as well.
I provide my own PA system but I do not have a lighting rig
I can provide a Spotify service between sets.
The best gig I ever did was a Christmas gig (Winter Ball) with Panda Jam prior to Covid, with hundreds of guests and lots of dancing!
I love playing at birthdays and weddings, especially when people get dancing and moving!
I started getting into live music performance when I was part of the 7-piece band Panda Jam back in university!
My typical set up involves a PA system, speakers and microphone. I also offer 30 minute to 1 hour performances.
Yes I am happy to play outside as long as there is adequate shelter and good power supply!
Yes I always tailor the set-list to the clients needs first, but I am also able to make up a set-list if the client does not have one.
