Solo Singer–Songwriter / Guitarist – Basic Technical Requirements
1. Performance Setup
   •   1 performer: vocals + guitar (acoustic or electric).
   •   Space needed: Minimum 6 ft x 6 ft performance area.
   •   1 armless chair or stool (optional but preferred).
   •   1 small table (for personal items, water, capo/picks, etc.)

2. Audio Requirements
Microphones
   •   1 vocal microphone
      •   Preferred: Shure SM58, Sennheiser e835, or equivalent.
   •   1 instrument microphone (if using mic’d acoustic guitar instead of DI)
      •   Preferred: Shure SM57 or small-diaphragm condenser.

DI / Inputs
   •   1 DI box for acoustic/electric guitar
      •   Active DI preferred; ground-lift switch recommended.
   •   Venue should provide 2 input channels minimum:
      •   Channel 1 – Vocal mic
      •        •   Channel 1 – Vocal mic
      •   Channel 2 – Guitar DI or instrument mic
PA System
   •   Venue must provide a full-range PA system capable of covering the room, including:
    

  Event date + exact performance times
   •   Type of event (public, private, corporate, festival, restaurant set, etc.)
   •   Expected attendance
   •   Load-in time and load-out time
   •   Location details (parking, loading dock, distance to stage)
   •   Indoor or outdoor?
   •   Weather plan (for outdoor events: covering, heaters, electrical safety, etc.)
   •   Dress code or theme requirements

I’m happy performing in a variety of settings, but I especially enjoy corporate and upscale events. The audiences are attentive, the production is smooth, and it gives me the perfect environment to showcase both original music and familiar favorites.
