'The sound of Broadway' – Tribute to Broadway tunes
'The sound of Broadwaay' is a show in which we take you to a wonderful world of musicals with Julie Andrews, Barbra Streisand, Sarah Brightman, Donnie Osmond and many more. According to Google, there are more then 30 million musicals, and it was very difficult for us to choose only 20 songs for this one hour show, so we decided to go with our hearts and we choose songs that we like. We hope you'll like them too.
There are many different kind of shows: classical, Broadway, pop…put them all together, add choreography, spectacular lighting, and colourful costumes, and you get “Broadway Cabaret”, the show with costume changes on stage, funny choreography and great vocals.
Very few vocalists attempt to sing songs from musicals, but both members of Duo Joker have such a powerful voices and wide ranges which sound remarkable, with excellent phrasing and delivery of song. They are both professionally trained vocalists singing operatic arias, and share a vast repertoire which embraces both opera and popular songs in several languages from musicals and movies. To mention some: The Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Les Miserables, Fiddler on the Roof, The Sound of Music, Footloose, We Will Rock You, Frozen, Wicked, Spamalot…
This show is both funny and serious. You can dance with artists or just sit and enjoy the show. To quote one of our fans: “I didn’t expect to hear somebody really sing Phantom of the Opera or The Sound of Music in a show in the hotel bar. I felt as though I was in a theatre, only better because I was allowed to wear short sleeves”.
