Status Quo, also known as The Quo or simply Quo, is an English rock band characterized by a strong boogie and boogie-woogie style. The band has achieved over 60 hits in the United Kingdom, more than any other rock band (a staggering 22 singles reached the top ten in the UK). The band has its own distinctive style featuring few chords, straightforward lyrics, and a solid rhythm. They enjoyed global success with hits such as Mean Girl, Paper Plane, Caroline, Down Down, Break the Rules, Whatever You Want, Rockin' All Over the World, The Wanderer, and In the Army Now. The band's biggest hit came in 1975 with the live version of Roll over lay down from the album Hello! (1973).
Status Quo Forever (SQF) was founded in 2017 and consists of excellent musicians with years of experience. Since then, Status Quo Forever has proven on numerous
(festival) stages that the promise is definitely kept. Quo fans praise the energy, the
enjoyment, and the perfection with which the songs are delivered. According to their own words, it takes them back to the heyday of Status Quo, from the late sixties to the early
eighties (the so-called Frantic Four period).
Even the audience that is not very familiar with the legacy of Status Quo is surprised by the large number of hits and the accessibility of the lesser-known songs. Therefore, Status Quo Forever is undoubtedly a festival band, focusing especially on a broad audience. In addition, the emphasis is on the show and the exhilarating energy of live recordings over the often more polished studio recordings. Playing as many hits as possible is considered more important than guitar solos lasting more than 10 minutes.
Expect a memorable performance from Status Quo Forever, featuring the energy and rawness for which Status Quo is renowned, while also paying tribute to the harmonious vocals and guitar play of frontmen Rossi/Parfitt. All the major hits will be heard, but also, especially for the fans, lesser-known gems such as Mystery Song, Big Fat Mama, Softer Ride, Rolling Home, and 4500 Times.

Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig.
Exept when there is a PA system availeble (at festivals) we have a list of requiries
Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.
We love playing at all sorts of events but (tribute)festivals are our favourite
We are all professional artists (some more than 30 years) and we've met each other at gigs in the Netherlands
Rick Parfitt and Francis Rossi, both playing in the band Status Quo
We normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up. We perform always one set. For festivals 60 minutes and for a full show 120 minutes. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
Yes they can, but normally we prefer our own setlist. We incedently play songs on request, if we know how to play them
They would describe us as the Dutch tribute band that brings the adrenaline, nostalgia and raw energy of these legendary rockers back to life!
